Miss Dallas' Shop is not just any store — it's a passion project that was named after one of our beloved rescue German Shepherds. When we opened our shop at 16 Higgins Drive on April 15, 2016, we were on a mission to make our patrons happier when leaving our store than when they walked through the doors. Today, we can proudly say we continue successfully meeting our goal and have become known as Milford's Best-Kept Little Secret! Our beautiful 4,000-square-foot store is filled with exciting and unique items sourced from carefully chosen suppliers and local artisans. We also have an array of consigned pieces in stock, so whether you're looking for something modern or classic, bohemian or rustic — we have a treasure for you. Our store features a variety of items created by skilled craftspersons from the Milford area and the surrounding regions. From handcrafted jewelry to beautiful pottery, our collection of locally made pieces reflects the unique creativity of these talented artists. things to know when consigning with us
Consigning with Miss Dallas' Shop
We accept small furniture, dinnerware, crystal, home accents, gently used high-end handbags, jewelry, collectibles, mirrors, artwork, outside furniture and accessories, and more. We do NOT accept clothing, shoes, or knock-offs. We no longer accept any items that are “Electrical” including lamps, small appliances, etc.
The selling price will be established by our experienced staff. The consignor will receive 50% on all sold items. However, if there are any items you are concerned about regarding what we sell it for, you should notify us. We may refrain from accepting any item(s) that may not compliment what we sell and for how much.
Consigning customers must call (203-882-5395), text (203-520-7745), email (datasignal@earthlink.net), or private message on Facebook, BEFORE coming in. Once we have approved items for which you may consign, you must create a list of all approved items.
All item(s) we agree to consign must be free of chips, rips, tears, cracks, and/or repairs.. All items must be clean. If items do not comply with our request, we will not accept your items. You should wrap and protect your items from damage during transportation to us. You must package into bags or boxes that you do not want returned. You must add your full name to the outside of all parcels.
Limit 20 items per consignor per day, and limited to once a month.
You are invited to call our land line 203-882-5395 to check if any money is due. Payouts are usually given the following month, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 11am until 4pm. ALL BEFORE COMING to allow us time to prepare your payments.
We do NOT mail checks. We appreciate all consigning customers to visit us to chat, look around, bring a friend to shop, or just say hello.
Hours Accepting Consignments that have been approved are: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 10 am until 2 pm.
LOCAL ARTISANS: Call 203-882-5395 or Email datasignal@earthlink.net to introduce yourself and your creations to begin the review process. The commission for all artisans is 40% for us, 60% for you. We do not charge for space to showcase your work. We only collect a 40% commission when an item is sold.
